Designerds is having a Dribbble meetup on May 1 in Carlsbad

If you plan on attending, RSVP on the Dribble meetup page

Hey everyone!
Welcome to Designerds – an event where designers can come together to learn from and teach each other about emerging technologies and design trends. Here, we try not to take ourselves to seriously and welcome anyone interested in design; whether just starting out, or a seasoned professional, we’ll try to make this meet up special for you.

About Us

Talks at Designerds will focus primarily on the latest design technologies and development including: UI, UX, HTML, and CSS, Javascript, Motion Graphics, Typographic Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design; heck, all the designs 🙂 We encourage all local design professionals to join us for vivid discussions around technology across any design medium.

Hang & Create: After the talks, you’re also welcome to make use of our desk space and team rooms while you’re here, so feel free to bring a project to hack on after the talks. Also feel free to join us for any UX experiments to help us better understand our users.

Our Format

7:00p – 7:45p Two 15min talks will be given by design professionals with a short recess in the middle with announcements afterwards. Announcements could include other local meetups, those looking for jobs, those hiring.

8:00p – 9:00p Workshop or Open Lab – We will always try to have a good workshop for designers to enjoy that will either be about an emerging technology or experience test. If you do not wish to attend the workshop, you can enjoy the work facility to work on any projects you might have.

Snacks and Drinks

All snacks and drinks will be provided by members of Planning Center. But you are welcome to bring your own.

Our Location

2788 Gateway Rd. Carlsbad CA 92009

We are located in beautiful North County San Diego in the town of Carlsbad at the offices of Planning Center.
